The FRSC has outlined 15 non-negotiable requirements that every applicant must meet before applying. These include:
- Nigerian by birth
- Meet the required age limit
- Be computer literate
- Be medically, physically, and mentally fit
- Applicants must be single
- Meet the minimum height requirement
- Have a valid professional licence where required
- Be of good character
- No tattoos allowed
- Use a personal email address and phone number
- Declare all qualifications
- Pregnant applicants are advised not to apply
- Meet the educational qualification for your preferred cadre
- Drivers and artisans must have additional qualifications
