During a recent summit tagged "Igbomina Lokan" held in Ilorin, the socio-cultural organization Omo Ibile Igbomina presented compelling statistics to support their claim. According to their records, the Ekiti and Ibolo blocs have each represented Kwara South for 12 years cumulatively, while the Igbomina bloc has only held the position for four years.
The Chairman of the Summit, Chief Solo Olaoye, emphasized that "the glaring disparity is politically unsustainable and against the spirit of rotational equity, which fosters unity and inclusive development." He firmly stated that based on historical records, the political turn rightfully belongs to the Igbomina bloc for the 2027 election.

The summit witnessed massive attendance from monarchs, leaders, and stakeholders across the three local government areas that constitute the Igbomina bloc: Ifelodun, Irepodun, and Isin Local Government Areas.
