Federal Government Approves Rerouting of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Through Ogoniland
The Federal Government has officially approved the rerouting of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to pass through Ogoniland, a move made in honor of the late Senator Mpigi Barinada Barry. This significant decision was announced by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, during a Night of Tribute event held in Abuja on Wednesday.

Minister Umahi described the passing of Senator Mpigi as a profound loss to the nation, highlighting his unwavering commitment to national development, integrity, and bridge-building during his tenure in the Senate.
