Spyro Slams Pastors for Silence on Insecurity

Nigerian singer Spyro has publicly criticized prominent spiritual leaders, including Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, and Pastor Jerry Eze, for their silence regarding the country's worsening insecurity.

In a video broadcast, the artist revealed he boycotted church last Sunday out of frustration. He stated he sees no justification for attending services when religious leaders refuse to address the ongoing terror attacks plaguing various regions.

Spyro also expressed disappointment in the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), noting that only a handful of pastors participated in the body's recent peaceful protest against the national security crisis.

“Where is Pastor Adeboye in all of this? Where is David Oyedepo? Where is Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor Bolaji, Jerry Eze in all of this? Where are the notable men of God that have so much influence? And the Muslims, where are all your sheiks? What are they saying? Where are the alfas?” he questioned.
