Dr. Solomon Ojeagbase, the Managing Director of Complete Communications Limited, has been appointed as a United Nations (UN) Representative to the AWWG at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). He announced this appointment on Friday via his official Facebook page, expressing delight and stating that he was deeply honored to have been chosen for the role.
Ojeagbase's Vision for the Role
In his announcement, Ojeagbase emphasized the significance of the appointment, calling it both a privilege and a responsibility. He outlined his commitment to contributing meaningfully to global dialogue, policy advocacy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His focus will be on areas such as sustainable development, inclusive growth, and international cooperation.
Ojeagbase holds an honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Public Administration from the Geofidel Institute of Leadership and Management and Stratford University London, United Kingdom. He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and eagerly anticipates starting his new role at the UN.

As a Harvard Business School-certified digital transformation expert and a leading figure in Africa's sports media, Ojeagbase looks forward to collaborating with global leaders, policymakers, civil society organizations, and fellow representatives. Educational and Professional Journey
Ojeagbase is a graduate of Covenant University, where he earned a BSc in International Relations. He also holds an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS). To further deepen his business acumen, he attended a MiniMBA program at the London School of Business and Finance and an Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Emerging Markets program at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, United States.
In 2016, he was nominated for Professional Service at The Future Awards Africa for his contributions to the development of the digital football community online, through the Complete Sports website and other digital communities he built from the ground up.

Dr. Ojeagbase has grown through the ranks at Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Nigeria's No.1 Sports daily, Complete Sports. Now serving as an Executive Director, he heads the Online Division, demonstrating his leadership and expertise in digital media.
