The funeral rites for Madam Nnalu Okalazu, formerly known as Nee Alago, who passed away recently at the age of 90, are scheduled to take place on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, 2026. The events will be held in Amapu Umuachama, Amamba, Uzuakoli, located in Bende Local Council Area of Abia State.
Funeral Programme Details
According to a statement issued by the Okalazu family, a service of songs and wake will be conducted on Friday, June 19, 2026, commencing at 4:00 p.m. at the deceased's residence in Amapu Umuachama, Amamba, Uzuakoli.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the body will be moved from Cottage Mortuary, Lohum, to several locations including Ndiarua Akaelu Lodu Imenyi, Amuda Eluama Uzuakoli, and Umueze Amamba Uzuakoli, starting at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will then take place at Amapu Umuachama, Amamba, Uzuakoli at 11:00 a.m., officiated by the Abosso Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ.
