The Nigerian Maritime Law Association (NMLA) has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of a fresh executive committee committed to transforming maritime legal practice across the nation.

During the 16th Annual General Meeting held on November 15, 2025, members elected a distinguished team of legal experts to steer the association's affairs for the coming term. The newly constituted executive committee is headed by Senior Advocate Mike Igbokwe as President, supported by Professor Adewale Adedamola Olawoyin (SAN) as First Vice President and Dr Emeka Akabogu (SAN) as Second Vice President.

Other key appointments include Mrs Nneka Obianyor as Honorary Secretary, Mr 'Nonso Azih as Assistant Secretary, Chief Omolola Ikwuagwu as Treasurer, Ms Kashimana Tsumba as Financial Secretary, and Mrs Mojisola Jaiye-Gbenle as Publicity Secretary.
