Dabbagh Advocates Prophetic Peace Path in Kano Conference

UK-based Islamic scholar Shaykh Ahmad Dabbagh has called for the adoption of Prophetic methodology and practices as a pathway to achieving sustainable global peace. Speaking during his World Peace Tour in Kano, Nigeria, he emphasized that peace remains the most desirable value for all of humanity, regardless of faith.

Advocating for Peace Over War

Shaykh Dabbagh questioned the logic behind devastating wars, noting that embattled nations often return to negotiation tables after years of destruction and loss of precious lives. He urged leaders and individuals to choose peace from the outset, avoiding unnecessary bloodshed and suffering.

Addressing a press conference, Shaykh Dabbagh explained that his visit to Kano is part of his 2026 African tour, which aims to reach 195 countries to propagate the Prophetic message of peace. He revealed that he has already visited 70 countries in Africa and that his trip to Nigeria has allowed him to extend the World Peace mission to Oyo, Abuja, and Kano.

The mission includes organizing conferences to educate youth on the Prophet's renewed message of peace and providing specialized training for professionals and students of knowledge to better practice their religion.

Key Message

Shaykh Dabbagh stated: “We are seeing that people are coming together for peace to end wars. This raises an important question: after causing so much harm, bloodshed, and destruction, why not choose peace from the beginning? If, after 10 or 20 years of loss of lives, property, and honor, people still return to negotiation and dialogue, why not embrace peace in the first place?”

He further noted that for peace to prevail in any community, individuals must first cultivate peace within themselves, both in their hearts and in their conduct. A harmonious society begins at the individual level before extending to those in positions of authority.
