Prophet Abel Boma Releases 2027 Election Prophecy
Prophet Abel Tamunominabo Boma, a Nigerian preacher active on X (formerly Twitter) under the handle @ProphetBomaAbel, has declared that he received a divine vision of an unidentified presidential candidate withdrawing from the 2027 election race. In a message posted on Monday, July 13, 2026, the cleric stated that he saw a candidate announce his complete withdrawal from the contest, even before finishing his campaign.
Boma wrote on his verified X account: "I began to see a presidential candidate. He said, I'm no longer going." He added: "He withdrew from even campaign for his, for the election. He said, I'm no longer. I've withdrawn."
Cleric Refuses to Disclose Candidate's Identity
Despite claiming knowledge of the individual's name, Boma declined to reveal it, insisting that the public would only learn the identity when the event naturally unfolds. He stated: "So who is this presidential candidate? I should talk? I should call his name? No. I will never call his name. Never. On that day, we all know who is the person."
The Rivers-based pastor also refrained from providing additional details, including the timing of the withdrawal, the circumstances surrounding it, or the candidate's health status, which he briefly mentioned as a possible factor. He added: "What happened to him? I don't know. Was he sick? I don't know. So what are you saying? I still don't know."
Context of the 2027 Presidential Election
The prophecy, titled "2026 Prophecy: A Presidential Candidate Will Withdraw Contesting," comes as Nigeria intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections. According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for January 16, 2027, followed by governorship and state assembly elections on February 6, 2027.
Incumbent President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is seeking a second term. He faces stiff competition from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is contesting under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and former Anambra Governor Peter Obi, who represents the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). These three figures are widely regarded as the leading contenders in the race.
Previous Prophecies on 2027 Elections
This is not the first prophecy concerning the 2027 elections. Earlier, Prophet David Elijah of the Glorious Mount of Possibility Church in Lagos predicted that President Tinubu may face a difficult path to victory. In a YouTube video, Elijah claimed that some allies would "disappoint" Tinubu and that certain ministers might resign from his cabinet, potentially rattling the president.
These prophetic claims have generated significant public interest, with many Nigerians closely watching the political developments. However, readers are encouraged to form their own conclusions, as this article is for commentary and informational purposes only.
