Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has alleged that the rising wave of terrorism in Nigeria is a deliberate scheme to remove President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from office. Speaking on Sunday, June 7, at his Adoration Ministry, the Catholic priest urged citizens to direct their anger over the kidnapping of teachers and students in Oyo State toward Governor Seyi Makinde, not the President.
Mbaka's Claims
Mbaka stated: "Governor Makinde, wake up! Let the Nigerians march to Oyo State, there is a governor there. We should hold Tinubu responsible if he's owing security votes of states." He further alleged that the Ogbomosho incident was orchestrated to overthrow Tinubu.
"If they want to overthrow Tinubu, it is not by kidnapping our children, so that the whole Nigeria will be angry against the President. That was what they did against Jonathan, they have started it again. Let Nigerians not be deceived," Mbaka said.
Political Agenda
He described the kidnappings as a "satanic political agenda" aimed at spreading panic and forcing the President out. "They carried little children and took them into the bush. That bush, where is it? Is it not in Nigeria?" he added.
Mbaka called on Governor Makinde to take action, saying, "Take the phone and trace where they are." He prayed that "it shall not be well" with those sponsoring terrorism and alleged that certain people commit atrocities whenever they want to push out a President.
The video of his sermon has been widely shared on social media.
