The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a decisive step by unanimously affirming Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State as its sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election in the northwestern state. This affirmation came during the party's governorship primary held on Thursday, May 21, at the Haliru Abdul Stadium in Birnin Kebbi.
