The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday released the names of 47 aspirants who were not cleared to participate in its senatorial primary elections for the 2027 general polls. The party did not disclose the reasons for the disqualification.

The list was issued in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, following the screening exercise conducted by designated committees in line with established guidelines and procedures. According to the party, the screening was carried out strictly in accordance with internal rules, though no specific reasons were provided for the disqualification of the affected aspirants.
