The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday published the names of 47 aspirants who were not cleared to participate in its senatorial primary elections for the 2027 general polls. The party, however, did not disclose the reason for the disqualification.
The list, issued in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, followed the party’s screening exercise conducted by its designated committees in line with established guidelines and procedures. According to the party, the screening was carried out strictly in accordance with internal rules, though no specific reasons were provided for the disqualification of the affected aspirants.
