Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, formally submitted his Nomination Form at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Tuesday, positioning himself as the consensus candidate for Ogun East Senatorial District.
Commitment to Ogun East
Speaking during the brief ceremony, Governor Abiodun described the occasion as more than a political exercise. He noted that it represents his enduring commitment to the people of Ogun East, a district renowned for its rich history, enterprise, culture, and immense potential.
“This moment is not just about a political process, but about our enduring commitment to the people of Ogun East,” the governor stated.
Appreciation for Support
He expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, and residents across the Ijebu and Remo divisions for the confidence and support they have continued to repose in him over the years. He assured them that he remains committed to delivering purposeful and impactful representation.
Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his resolve to sustain the developmental strides already being witnessed across the district. His focus will remain on infrastructure, economic expansion, youth empowerment, and improved opportunities for the people.
“Together, we will continue to work for greater opportunities, improved infrastructure, economic growth, youth empowerment, and a more prosperous future for every community across Ogun East Senatorial District,” he said.

The submission of the nomination form marks a significant milestone ahead of the forthcoming elections. The governor positions himself to further consolidate his record of service and leadership in Ogun State.
