The programme will also feature a formal endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office, further reinforcing the rally's state and national political significance. Central to the event is the unveiling of Haske's governing blueprint, the Adamawa A.R.I.S.E. Agenda, which focuses on Accountable Governance, Resilient Economy, Inclusive Infrastructure, Sustainable Environment and Social Development, and Every Life Protected (Security).

The blueprint is designed as a practical response to Adamawa's pressing challenges, including a 75.4 per cent poverty rate, 87 per cent dependence on federal allocations, and escalating youth unemployment. Political analysts have noted that the rally may well shape the trajectory of what is widely regarded as the state's most consequential election in a generation. A respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, Haske has steadily emerged as one of the most promising political figures in the state. In recent weeks, he has garnered extensive endorsements from APC stakeholders and interest groups ahead of the 2027 governorship race.
Party Endorsements and Senator Abbas's Stance
During the recently concluded APC congresses in the state, prominent party leaders and members publicly endorsed Haske as their preferred governorship aspirant, describing him as a capable and forward-looking leader with a clear vision that builds on existing achievements while driving accelerated socio-economic transformation for Adamawa State. Meanwhile, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas has vowed to remain in the gubernatorial contest. Addressing journalists in Yola, Abbas dismissed rumors of a withdrawal, suggesting that other candidates are simply too scared to face him in an open contest. Despite mounting speculation regarding imposition or a 'consensus' candidate under the ruling APC, Abbas made it clear that he is not stepping down for anyone. He dismissed a much-touted charter as a sign of weakness from his rivals, asserting that his seat at the primary table is non-negotiable.
APC Chieftain Defects to PDP
In a related development, an APC chieftain, Maurice Vunobolki, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing lack of equity and fairness within the party. Briefing journalists yesterday in Yola, Vunobolki said his return to the PDP followed wide consultation with his supporters, political associates, and key stakeholders. He stated, "Today, I formally announce my return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This decision is rooted in the belief that the PDP today provides a more open and inclusive platform that promotes internal democracy, encourages constructive engagement, and allows individuals to freely express and pursue their aspirations without undue limitations." Recall that Vunobolki resigned from the APC on April 14, 2026, three weeks after he joined the party.
