Chief Chikodiri Ojemba, the senatorial candidate for Ebonyi North, urged his supporters to avoid campaigns of calumny and refrain from using abusive language against opponents and stakeholders. He stated, “I present myself to you today not as a competitor, but as a credible alternative as we collectively journey toward the realization of quality senatorial representation under the platform of APGA.” Ojemba explained that his decision to contest followed extensive consultations with relevant stakeholders, communities, and party members across the Ebonyi North Senatorial District, which comprises Abakaliki, Izzi, Ebonyi, and Ohaukwu local government areas.

He noted that repeated calls and encouragement from the people motivated him to seek the senatorial seat in order to provide purposeful representation at the National Assembly. Ojemba promised that if elected, his focus would be on youth empowerment, job creation for graduates, support for small and medium-scale enterprises, agricultural development, education, and infrastructural growth. “I will work tirelessly to collaborate with relevant agencies and institutions to create opportunities for our youths, empower women, and improve the agricultural potential of our people,” he said.

Commitment to Issue-Based Campaign

The APGA senatorial candidate further pledged to champion quality basic education, mentorship programs, and constituency-driven projects that would positively impact the people. “Basic infrastructure will remain my priority, and I will represent the people with dignity, courage, and decorum on national and domestic issues,” he added. Ojemba assured that his campaign would be peaceful and issue-based, emphasizing that violence would not be part of his political activities. “Our campaign will be driven by ideas, solutions, and constructive engagement. As a young person and businessman, my representation will be youth-oriented and development-focused,” he stated.

He appealed to the people of Ebonyi North to support his ambition and pray for the success of his candidacy in the forthcoming elections. Both candidates expressed confidence in APGA's ability to provide credible leadership and urged party members to remain united as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
