Dr. Aondoaseer Gbe Benjamin Orduen, widely known as AG-BEN, has secured the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ticket for the Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The primary election, conducted on Thursday, saw delegates and party stakeholders overwhelmingly endorse his candidacy.
Grassroots Support and Development Agenda
Party members and supporters who attended the primary hailed Orduen as a politician with deep grassroots connections and increasing popularity among the youth in the constituency. They praised his leadership qualities and his development-focused agenda aimed at improving the Vandeikya and Konshisha areas.
Orduen Pledges Issue-Based Campaign
Speaking after his victory, Orduen expressed gratitude to party leaders, delegates, and supporters for their confidence. He vowed to concentrate his campaign on critical issues affecting residents, including infrastructure, agriculture, education, technology, and youth empowerment. “I appreciate party leaders, delegates, supporters, and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in me,” he said.
The ADC candidate assured constituents that his campaign would emphasize practical solutions and development-driven policies. He promised to provide effective representation and attract meaningful development projects to the constituency if elected.
Call for Unity Ahead of 2027
Orduen urged ADC members across the constituency to remain united as preparations for the 2027 polls intensify. “We must remain united and committed as preparations intensify towards the 2027 general elections,” he stated. His emergence positions him among the leading contenders for the House of Representatives seat in Benue State.
