Primate Ayodele Reveals Major Obstacle to Tinubu's 2027 Re-election

Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, has declared that key members of the international community will not support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027. In a statement released on Tuesday, May 12, through his media aide Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric asserted that while President Tinubu possesses the political strength and structure to defeat opposition parties, the international community will emerge as a major obstacle to his victory.

International Forces Against Tinubu

According to Primate Ayodele, countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union are allegedly prepared to align with opposition parties to unseat the current administration. He stated: "The international communities will not support Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027. The president has all it takes to win the election, but the international community will be a major obstacle to his victory. Some countries, including the US, UK and the European Union, are ready to align with the opposition parties to see that Tinubu gets out of power in 2027."

Warning to Goodluck Jonathan

In the same vein, Primate Ayodele cautioned former President Goodluck Jonathan against pursuing a presidential ambition in the 2027 elections. This warning comes after a group approached Jonathan on Thursday, May 7, urging him to contest. Jonathan, while receiving political stakeholders at his office in Abuja, stated that he would consult widely before making a decision, emphasizing that the race for Nigeria's highest office "is not a computer game."

Primate Ayodele noted that Jonathan's entry into the race could shake the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and alter Nigeria's political landscape. However, he advised the former president to tread carefully to avoid staining his image. The cleric prophesied: "Former President Goodluck Jonathan will be good on the ballot, but his prestigious image may be stained. If he truly wants to contest, it will be tough for every candidate, including President Tinubu, but he must be very careful."

Previous Prophecies on Tinubu's Appointees

Earlier, Primate Ayodele had issued a notable warning to Bashir Adeniyi, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, and Nwakuche Ndidi, the Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service. He cautioned that both presidential appointees could be removed from office if they are not careful, claiming that they have been earmarked for dismissal by President Tinubu before the end of the current administration.

Primate Ayodele's latest prophecies continue to generate discussions as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections, with many political analysts closely watching the dynamics between domestic politics and international influence.
