RHN Urges Support for Tinubu's Re-Election
The Director-General of the Renewed Hope Network (RHN) in Lagos State, Mohammed Oyinlomo Danmole, has called on Nigerians to back President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid. He emphasized that continuity is essential for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consolidate ongoing reforms and developmental projects launched since 2023.
Speaking with journalists in Lagos on Thursday, Danmole highlighted the Tinubu administration's achievements through its Renewed Hope Agenda, including bold leadership in economic reform, infrastructure development, education, social investment, security, and national productivity.
Grand Interfaith Prayer Session
The RHN is organizing a massive interfaith prayer session for Nigeria and President Tinubu on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The event is expected to attract over 55,000 participants from across the nation. Muslims and Christians from various geopolitical zones, professional bodies, and faith-based organizations will come together to pray for peace, unity, progress, and prosperity in Nigeria. The session will also seek divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for the President and his administration.
Endorsement and Political Support
Danmole announced that the RHN would formally endorse President Tinubu for a second term during the prayer event. Additionally, the group will endorse Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as its preferred candidate for the 2027 Lagos governorship election.
Defense of Economic Policies
The RHN director-general defended the administration's economic policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies, exchange rate unification, and proposed tax reforms. He argued that these measures require patience and continuity to achieve long-term benefits. A change in leadership at this stage, he warned, could disrupt the reforms and policies already in motion.
Grassroots Mobilization
Danmole stated that the RHN would intensify grassroots mobilization, community engagement, and outreach programs ahead of the 2027 general elections. "Our mission is to engage directly with ordinary Nigerians in their local languages, while respecting their cultures and traditions, and localizing the Renewed Hope Agenda in every ward, polling unit, and community across the country," he said.
