The All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has officially inaugurated its Cross River State executive and local government coordinators across all 18 local council areas. This move is part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilization and reinforce support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Otu’s administrations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Inauguration Ceremony
Performing the inauguration, the national secretary of the group, Ambassador Dr. Felix O. Arome, charged the state executive and local government coordinators to deepen grassroots engagement and bridge communication gaps between the government and citizens. Describing the event as a significant milestone, Dr. Arome noted that nation-building requires unity, commitment, and sacrifice.
Call to Service
He stressed the need for the coordinators to serve as a bridge between the leadership and the people, describing their appointments as a sacred trust. Dr. Arome said the coordinators are expected to be the “ears, voice, and action points” of the President at the grassroots, ensuring effective feedback across all states and local government areas. He reminded members that their role includes explaining government policies in simple terms, correcting misinformation, and engaging citizens through town hall meetings.
Deputy Director General's Message
Deputy Director General of RTIFN and veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, who conveyed the message from its Founder-in-Chief, Seyi Tinubu, also described the appointments as a sacred trust. He stressed the need for the coordinators to serve as a bridge between the leadership and the people. Orji described the inauguration as a major step towards strengthening grassroots engagement and national development. He called on the coordinators to uphold the group’s core values, promote effective communication, and provide purposeful leadership in Cross River and its 18 local government areas.
2027 Mandate
The deputy director general stated that because of the uncommon achievements of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock or in Cross River State in 2027.

Responding on behalf of the newly-inaugurated coordinators, the State Women Coordinator, Dr. Mary Egbai, commended President Bola Tinubu for his courageous and transformative leadership and Governor Bassey Otu for his people-centered leadership and developmental strides that are transforming and taking Cross River State to new heights.
