The Southeast Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has praised party leaders, elected officials, and members across the region for the peaceful and transparent conduct of the National Assembly primary elections. Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the party’s National Vice-Chairman for the Southeast, speaking on behalf of the executive committee in Owerri on Tuesday, highlighted that stakeholder cooperation ensured a smooth exercise across all five states in the zone.
Uzodimma Congratulated for Victory
Arodiogbu congratulated Hope Uzodimma on his success in the senatorial primary election and commended the Imo State governor for his leadership and support during the process. According to Arodiogbu, Uzodimma’s guidance was instrumental in the successful execution of the National Assembly primaries throughout the Southeast.
Confidence in Aspirants
He further congratulated all elected House of Representatives and senatorial aspirants, expressing confidence in their prospects for the upcoming general elections. Arodiogbu revealed that reports from the electoral committee and election monitors appointed by the party’s National Working Committee confirmed the emergence of several candidates in the senatorial primaries across the region.
