The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has taken a crucial step in its ongoing 2025 recruitment drive by publishing the official list of approved physical verification centres across Nigeria.
Critical Stage for Shortlisted Applicants
This announcement follows the successful completion of the computer-based tests last month. The board has sent a clear message to all shortlisted candidates, emphasising that the physical verification phase is a mandatory and critical stage of the selection process.
During this phase, the identities, original documents, and physical fitness of applicants will be thoroughly authenticated. Only candidates who successfully pass this verification will proceed to the final stage of selection for positions within the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

Background and Warnings to Applicants
This development follows the online recruitment examinations which were held from November 12 to 19, 2025. The CDCFIB had earlier closed its application portal on November 7, 2025.
The board has consistently warned applicants to be vigilant against fake recruitment lists and unauthorised announcements circulating online. Mrs Okeh Juliet, a board representative, has urged all candidates to rely solely on official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic information.
The CDCFIB reaffirms its commitment to a transparent, fair, and merit-based recruitment process for all four services under its purview. Shortlisted candidates are advised to prepare all necessary original documents and be ready to present themselves at their designated verification centre as scheduled.
