Leaked letters written by Natalie Harp, a close personal aide to US President Donald Trump, reveal intense personal and professional loyalty to the president. The correspondence, published by The Daily Beast, has intensified scrutiny of her role in the administration.
Letters Show Deep Personal Devotion
Harp, whose near-constant presence beside Trump has drawn increasing attention in political circles, wrote directly to the president reflecting on her commitment to his team and addressing recent campaign events. In one letter, printed out and signed "Dear Mr. President," she concluded with "With all my heart, Natalie."
Addressing a past trip to Scotland where she feared she had lost her focus, Harp expressed deep regret over any perceived missteps. "I never want to bring you anything but joy," she wrote. "I'm sorry I lost my focus. You are all that matters to me. I don't want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life."
Reminiscing About Early Days
In another letter, Harp reminisced about her early relationship with Trump during her time as a television host for One America News Network. "I miss the days when you used to call, during my Talkshow days, and we'd talk about everything and nothing," Harp wrote. "I want to get back to that synergy. We shouldn't have to talk about work all the time!!"
In the same note, Harp welcomed direct criticism from the president, writing: "And please, when I fail, will you tell me? You have the absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more."
White House Defends Harp's Role
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended Harp's standing, calling her "one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump's team." Despite the public attention and internal staff debates surrounding her heavy involvement in daily operations, Harp continues to travel closely alongside the president.
