The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has officially released the timeline for the next phase of its major recruitment drive into four key security agencies.
Screening Schedule and Portal Access
In a significant update for thousands of applicants, the Board's Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, confirmed that the list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official recruitment portal starting 1 December 2025. Applicants have a three-day window, from Monday, 1 December, to Wednesday, 3 December, to check their application status.
Jubril stated that successful applicants, who were chosen purely on merit, should visit www.recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to select their preferred screening venue and date. He emphasized that all official communication will be issued exclusively through this portal and warned applicants to disregard messages from any other channels.
Nationwide Screening Exercise Details
The crucial physical screening and document verification exercise for those shortlisted is scheduled to hold across the country from 8 to 12 December 2025. This recruitment round covers positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Federal Fire Service, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Jubril congratulated the successful candidates and assured the public that the selection process strictly adhered to the Federal Character principle while also addressing the specific manpower requirements of each service.
