Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has joined the growing number of Nigerians expressing deep concern over the abduction of schoolchildren and their teachers in Oyo State. In a post on X, the rapper lamented the potential long-term psychological effects the traumatic experience could have on the victims, even if they are eventually rescued.

“The kids are still not back, what kind of life could they even live after this if they make it out, Nigeria has happened to them,” Blaqbonez wrote. His comment quickly sparked a wave of reactions from other X users, many of whom shared similar sentiments about the incident.
Public Outcry
One user wrote, “The child who didn't feel the warmth of the village will return to burn it. They'll probably be inducted into the terrorists' system.” Another user highlighted the psychological impact, stating, “The terrible part is even if they make it out alive, there obviously won't be access to proper therapy. Most of them will live with the trauma for the rest of their lives. This is sad.”
