FCT Police Kill Two Bandits in Abuja Operation

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has killed two suspected members of a bandit gang that has been terrorising residents of Abuja. The operation, personally led by the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi, resulted in the neutralisation of the suspects.

Police Operation Details

CP Sanusi confirmed the development while briefing journalists at the command headquarters on Wednesday. He stated that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to rid the FCT of armed criminal elements responsible for attacks and insecurity in surrounding communities.

According to the police chief, officers acted on credible intelligence that led to a confrontation with the suspects. During the encounter, the two suspects were shot dead. The police commissioner assured residents that security operations across Abuja and its environs have been intensified.
