An elderly man has shared a harrowing account of the recent attack on schools in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, alleging that armed men disguised as soldiers stormed the premises and opened fire.
Attack Details
According to the witness, the attackers entered the school, causing chaos as children desperately tried to escape through windows. However, many lacked the strength to get out in time and were taken away. He claimed that several young children were abducted, including his son's wife, a teacher at the school, and her baby. He identified the woman seen in a circulating video carrying a child and crying as his son's wife.

When asked about the now-viral footage of the incident, the man stated he did not know how the video was recorded or who released it. He expressed shock at the scale of the attack, noting that while similar incidents had occurred in the area before, they were never on this magnitude.
Scale of Abductions
Unlike previous cases involving one or two people, this time approximately 46 individuals, including children, were allegedly taken by the gunmen. The community is in mourning and fear as the search for the victims continues.
