Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma (OPFY) have successfully facilitated the unconditional release of ten individuals who were abducted in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. According to reliable military sources, the victims were received on April 30th by troops conducting checkpoint duties at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Maro, following their release from a suspected terrorist camp.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the rescued victims were kidnapped on January 4, 2026, in Unguwan Gamu. The sources confirmed that the victims were subsequently handed over to a representative of the Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area for further care and reintegration into society.
