An eyewitness, Lovina Solomon, shared the video on Facebook and alleged that the man attacked his wife because of his mistress. In her post, she wrote: "On my way back from the village today I saw this elderly man beating up his wife, and I was told it was because of his side chic. Marriage is not by force oooo. The woman was bleeding seriously and I believe it's not his first time doing this, beating up a woman as if they're the same gender. This happened at Ellu in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State."
