Arrest of Fake PFIPC Director-General
Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the non-existent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has been arrested. The arrest took place this afternoon, shortly after Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued a warrant for his apprehension.
Court Warrant and Charges
Justice Mohammed Umar ordered Adeyemi's arrest after he failed to appear in court for his scheduled arraignment. The charges against him relate to the activities of the fake PFIPC. Adeyemi was to take his plea on an eight-count charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, which includes forgery, fraud, and impersonation. The court is located in the Maitama area of Abuja.
Details of the Case
The eight-count charge accuses Adeyemi of forging documents, defrauding individuals, and impersonating a government official. The PFIPC is not a recognized government body, and Adeyemi allegedly used this fictitious title to perpetrate his schemes. The arrest marks a significant step in holding him accountable for these alleged crimes.
