Female Footballer Accused of Repeatedly Raping Teen Boy

A female footballer has been accused of repeatedly raping a 14-year-old boy and sending him explicit images of herself. Oteta Kristina Kitiona, now 20, was charged with several offenses for allegedly having sex with the teenager at his home in Bluffdale, Utah, in 2024, when she was 19, according to police.

Details of the Allegations

Kitiona, who was part of Samoa’s 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup failed qualifying campaign earlier this year, is accused of abusing the boy multiple times over a six-month period before she left for college, the Daily Mail reported. The boy claims the budding football star would come to his home “two to three times a week” to have sex with him between June and October 2024, according to court documents.

The alleged relationship paused briefly when she headed to Bellevue College in Washington state, but resumed when she returned home a month later, the filings state. During the alleged encounters, Kitiona reportedly sent the boy explicit photos and videos, where he claims she was “head to toe clean, naked.” She also allegedly encouraged him to send explicit images of himself, including when he was in the shower, according to court documents.
