Five female members of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Wuse II, Abuja, have died in a road accident while traveling to Kaduna for a burial. The accident occurred on Friday, July 10, 2026, as the delegation was heading to Samaru Kataf in Southern Kaduna for the burial of the mother of one Mrs. Avong.
Victims Identified
The deceased have been identified as Mrs. Naomi Barnabas, Mrs. Julie Ladan, Mrs. Grace (Gambo) Daniel Sati, Mrs. Esther Tukur, and Mrs. Theresa S. Gandu. Several other members of the delegation sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Church and Community in Mourning
The tragic incident has left the church and the families of the victims in mourning. The ECWA Wuse II congregation is devastated by the loss, and prayers are being offered for the injured and the bereaved families.
