The suspects identified as Samson John, 25; Olufowora Michael, 28; Odeh Samuel Ejeh, 25; and Olajide Jeremiah, 28, are accused of assaulting a complainant at his residence around 1:00 p.m. on April 16, 2026. According to the report, John and six other individuals allegedly threatened the victim with an axe and stole his iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Upon receiving the complaint at approximately 11:30 p.m. that same day, police responded swiftly. Through subsequent investigation, the four suspects were apprehended. During the operation, law enforcement recovered a locally made pistol, an axe, suspected charms, and the stolen mobile phone.

The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the arrests and the recovery of the items. He stated that the suspects remain in police custody, while efforts are actively ongoing to arrest other members of the group involved in the alleged crimes.
