Timeline of Disappearance
According to a detailed account from his relatives, Malam Alkali Buhari left his home in Bida, Niger State, at approximately 8:57 am on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was traveling to the FUT Minna Gidan Gwanru Campus to deliver his scheduled lectures.
The lecturer maintained normal communication with his family throughout the morning and early afternoon. The situation took a worrying turn at about 3:21 pm, when he called his wife to inform her he had finished his lectures and was proceeding to the campus gate to board a vehicle back to Bida.
