Teacher Accused of Raping 15-Year-Old Boy in Imo State
A teacher identified as Nduka Iheme, popularly known as Sir Best, has been confronted for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in Umuhu Okabia, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State. The incident came to light after the victim, Chinemezu, was discovered to have abused his younger male cousin.
Aunt Discovers Abuse
The boy's aunt, with whom Chinemezu lives, recounted that she was returning home with Chinemezu and her son Kamsi last week when Kamsi told her that Chinemezu had been putting his male organ into his anus. Shocked, the aunt examined her son's anus upon reaching home and observed scratches.
Victim Blames Teacher
When confronted, Chinemezu claimed he learned the act from his teacher, Sir Best. He stated that the teacher molested him anally, sometimes at Umuhu Okabia Secondary School and other times at the teacher's home when sent on errands. Chinemezu's father, upon being informed by his sister-in-law, checked his son's anus and found sores.
Teacher Denies Then Admits
The teacher was confronted and initially denied the assault, claiming the boy only came to his house to work on his motorcycle. However, the boy insisted that at school, the teacher called him into his office and touched his male member despite his objections. He further alleged that the teacher later asked him to bring a faulty motorcycle to his house, where the teacher removed his underwear and penetrated him, despite his protests. In a subsequent video, the teacher admitted to abusing the boy twice.

The revelations have sparked outrage in the community. The case highlights the vulnerability of children to abuse by trusted adults. Authorities have been called upon to investigate and ensure justice for the victims.
