Victim Recounts Ordeal After Hospital Treatment

The victim, Williams Ismaila, was urgently rushed to Kubwa General Hospital following the attack. Health officials provided immediate medical treatment for his injuries. Speaking to Daily Trust on Monday, Williams narrated his harrowing experience. He explained that the confrontation began when Markus consumed breakfast intended for their elderly father.

"I confronted him about eating our father's food, and he responded by insulting both me and our dad," Williams stated. He further detailed that another younger brother, John Ismaila, was initially targeted by Markus. "He turned against him, engaging him in a fight. When I tried to intervene and stop the altercation, he pulled out a knife and stabbed me in about five different spots on my body," Williams recounted, describing the sudden escalation of violence.

John Ismaila, who was present during the incident, provided additional context. He mentioned that he was at the back of their compound when he heard loud noises from the confrontation. He then proceeded to stab our elder brother multiple times with a knife," John added, emphasizing the chaotic and aggressive nature of the attack.
