Bode Moses Ologan, originally from Owo in Ondo State, Nigeria, was discovered deceased in his truck on November 7, 2025. The father of three had been living in Arlington, Texas with his children at the time of his passing.

Ologan's associates quickly mobilized support for his family, creating a GoFundMe account on November 8, 2025, to help cover funeral costs and other necessary expenses. The campaign, organized by Omolade Adeduro, highlighted the sudden nature of his death and the three children he left behind.

Community Support and Fundraising Efforts

The fundraising appeal titled "Help Bode Ologan's Family in Their Grief" describes Ologan as a man who "lived a fulfilling life" and leaves behind three children named Semilore, Semilogo, and Semilola.

As of Monday, November 17, 2025, the campaign had raised $5,053 from approximately 69 donors. The family continues to work toward their $30,000 goal to cover funeral arrangements scheduled for November 20, 2025.

Heartfelt Tributes from Friends and Associates

Tributes have been pouring in from various quarters, painting a picture of a devoted father and respected community member.

Emem Akpabio, a lawyer who represented Ologan, revealed that he was her first client and she had helped him obtain full custody of his three children eight years ago. Her social media post expressed deep sorrow at the news of his passing.

Josely Pueten, who identified himself as an acquaintance, wrote on Facebook: "I just received a phone call about him. He was one of our tenants here in Arlington. I never had the opportunity to meet him, but I know I got that call for a reason. I'm so sorry for his passing."

Another community member, Aboukia Fessibay, expressed condolences saying: "Bode has gone too soon; so sad to see this of his passing to the great beyond. May God be with his children and the rest of his beloved family and friends."
