Daniel Undiandeye, a Nigerian man, has announced the end of his 11-year marriage, alleging that his wife attacked him with weapons and sharp objects and attempted to destroy his sexual organ. He made the announcement in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, describing the decision as painful.
Wife's Confession and Allegations
According to Daniel, his wife allegedly confessed that she had been attacking him because members of his family, who are against his progress, recruited her into their ‘evil coven’ after their initial plans failed. He stated that his wife admitted to using axes and knives in the attacks and also raised her legs in an attempt to destroy his sexual organ.
In his post, Daniel wrote: "MY WIFE DIVORCED ME TODAY, BEING TUESDAY THE 25'TH OF AUGUST 2026." He further explained that the couple, who married in 2015, parted company after her confession. He detailed that she had taken him to court for an unjust cause and locked him outside at night in her village, Ukparibu, Bekwarra LGA, when he went to bring her home.
Family Plot and Evil Coven
Daniel alleged that some members of his family were against his progress and had planned to kill him. He claimed that after their initial efforts proved abortive, they persuaded his wife to join their evil coven, which she did, even after their leader died in the process. He noted that the confession came after these events.
He added that he is yet to meet with the newly elected Obudu District Superintendent, Rev. Emmanuel Achu, who together with other members of the Presbytery, will carry out the official divorce process. Daniel shared a photo of the couple in their traditional marriage and wedding attires to illustrate the situation.
Moving On and Political Ambitions
Despite the circumstances, Daniel stated that he does not regret the union, as it is blessed with children. He emphasized that his purpose in sharing the story was not to incur social media propaganda or debates, but to inform the public that she should no longer be regarded as his wife.
He concluded: "My major purpose of relating it to the masses, is that no one should regard her as my wife any longer, as I need to stay focus and move on with my life and political ambitions, especially as the 2027 Political season is underway."
