Odumodublvck Accuses Chocolate City of Using Police Petition to Block European Tour
Odumodublvck Alleges Choc City Petition Blocks European Tour

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has accused his former label, Chocolate City, of using a police petition to sabotage his European tour. The artist took to social media on Tuesday to allege that the Lagos-based record label has repeatedly attempted to have him arrested over the past year, with the latest effort targeting his European run.

Allegations of Police Petition

In a series of posts on X, Odumodublvck claimed that Chocolate City submitted a police petition to interfere with his tour. He described the document as suspicious, noting that it lacked a phone number or verifiable contact details. 'You send a petition without a phone number on it. Do you want to kidnap me? Do you want to pull me to the side and shoot me?' he wrote, directly addressing the Nigerian Police Force.

The rapper stated that this was the ninth such attempt by the label to have him arrested. He asserted that the motive was retaliation for his decision to publicly expose what he called a sexual abuser operating under Chocolate City's roof. 'I exposed the sexual abuser under their roof, their lies and their bots,' he said, without naming the individual.

Previous Conflicts

The dispute between Odumodublvck and Chocolate City has been escalating since late 2025, largely driven by a public rivalry with label-affiliated rapper Blaqbonez. In December 2025, the label alleged that Odumodublvck headbutted a staff member named Feyi Ajayi backstage at the Rhythm Unplugged concert in Lagos. Chocolate City claimed that associates of the rapper poured drinks on Ajayi when a bodyguard intervened.

The label subsequently filed a petition with law enforcement, leading to a formal criminal investigation at Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force. Additionally, in November 2025, a Chief Magistrate Court in Abuja issued a summons for Odumodublvck following a criminal intimidation petition filed by Chocolate City's Head of A&R, Olayinka Osagie Onobun, over threatening online messages. An assault and battery trial was also active at an FCT High Court in Life Camp during the same period.

Odumodublvck's Response

Odumodublvck has consistently denied having a violent disposition, maintaining that he is being deliberately portrayed as an aggressor by the label's camp. He closed his posts defiantly, noting that the attempt had failed as he was already on the road for his European tour.

At the time of publication, Chocolate City had not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
