In a brazen overnight assault, suspected armed men targeted and set fire to a police divisional headquarters in Ondo State, causing significant destruction.

The violent incident occurred at the Divisional Police Headquarters located in Ipele community, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. According to reports, the assailants struck on Wednesday night, around 9:40pm. Eyewitnesses described a scene of chaos as the gunmen stormed the facility, opening fire indiscriminately before proceeding to set parts of the station on fire.

The attack resulted in severe property loss. The hoodlums successfully burnt four patrol vehicles and approximately 15 motorcycles that were parked within the police premises.
