A young man has tragically passed away after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Orowole Samuel Kolapoz, widely known as Kola Onifoto, died on March 2 at the age of 35. The incident occurred shortly after he had embarked on his first solo motorcycle trip from Lagos to Akure.

On Sunday, March 1, Kola Onifoto made a post on Facebook announcing his journey, which turned out to be his last update. Hours later, friends reported that he had been involved in an accident and was initially taken to the emergency unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at 7UP in Ojota, Lagos. He was subsequently transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for further treatment.
Despite urgent medical efforts and prayers from his social media community, Kola succumbed to his injuries on March 2. His friends shared updates on platforms like Facebook and X, mourning his sudden loss and calling for support during this difficult time.
