The Cross River State Police Command has taken three individuals into custody following a violent incident where an angry mob fatally assaulted a suspected armed robber in Calabar. According to ASP Sunday Eitokpah, the police spokesperson, the command's Anti-Kidnapping Unit intervened to prevent further mob action against the suspect, who was allegedly attempting to rob a woman.
