The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended three individuals in connection with the alleged murder of a commercial driver. The suspects were taken into custody following an investigation into the disappearance of the driver, whose body was later exhumed from a shallow grave.
Arrest and Investigation
According to the police, the suspects were arrested after a tip-off from members of the community. The victim, a commercial driver, had been reported missing by his family. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver was allegedly killed by the suspects, who then buried his body in a shallow grave to conceal the crime.
The police exhumed the body in the presence of community leaders and family members. The remains have been taken to a morgue for autopsy, while the suspects are being held for further interrogation.
