A 70-year-old farmer, Mr. Ngwe Weyi, has been killed in an early morning attack along the Zanhwran-Nkiedonwro Road in Teegbe village, Miango District of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The attack, which occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, has been attributed to suspected Fulani militias.

According to a statement by the Publicity Secretary of Miango Youth Development Association (MYDA), Mr. Weyi Agara, the victim was attacked while on his way to his farm. He died from injuries sustained during the incident. The deceased left behind a wife and two children, who are now faced with the consequences of the loss of their breadwinner.
