A teenage boy has been apprehended in Monrovia, Liberia, after he allegedly attempted to sexually assault a 9-year-old boy. The incident came to light when the minor's aunt, Ophelia Naomi Flomo, shared details on Facebook on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Suspect Caught Red-Handed
According to Ophelia, the suspect, identified as 16-year-old Samuel Teah, was caught red-handed by neighbors. She alleged that the teenager had previously sexually assaulted another child in the same area.
“An alleged sixteen (16) years old male who goes by the name Samuel Teah was caught red-handed with my 9-year-old nephew attempting to insert his en*s into his an8s,” she wrote. “Had it not been God who sent the neighbors, who knows what it would've resulted into. He even bought a razor blade before he started his act.”
Previous Offenses
Ophelia further stated that the suspect had been involved in similar acts before, having assaulted another child in the Barnersville Estate. She urged the community to remain vigilant. “Please stay on the alert for him or another strange person in your community,” she added.
