TikTok Star Girlalala Murdered: Boyfriend's 911 Call Before Arrest
TikTok Star Girlalala Murdered: Boyfriend Arrested

The Nigerian online community is mourning the tragic loss of popular TikTok personality Girlalala, who was shot and killed in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida last Friday. Her boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., has been charged with first-degree murder following a panicked 911 call that revealed his desperate plea for help.

Frantic 911 Call Reveals Panic Before Arrest

In audio obtained by TMZ, Whyte, 25, can be heard desperately begging for assistance while apparently disoriented about his location. "Please help! Hello? I need help please! I need help! I don't know the address. Just check! Just check, please! I'm at a house. I'm at a house. Please… alright, thank you," the former college footballer pleaded during the call.

After Whyte hung up, the 911 operator called back, urging him to stay on the line. His response was equally frantic: "Yes, hello. Get here! Hurry up and get here! Who's calling me, hurry up and get here! Please."

Tragic Discovery and Previous Domestic Violence History

When Broward Sheriff's deputies and Fire Rescue arrived at the scene, they made a grim discovery. The 21-year-old TikTok star, born Maurice Harrison, was found in the front passenger seat of a parked Tesla suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, she was pronounced dead.

Whyte, who had a previous domestic violence arrest in 2022, was immediately taken into custody. A judge has ordered him held without bond while he faces first-degree murder charges.

Rising Star Cut Short and Family's Plea for Justice

Girlalala was building an impressive online presence as a wig influencer and hairstylist. She operated Girlalala Beauty Bar in Pompano Beach, Florida, and had amassed significant followings across multiple platforms:

  • 294,600 TikTok followers
  • 117,012 Instagram followers across her accounts
  • 4,760 YouTube subscribers
  • 5,146 followers on X

Tragically, this isn't the first violent loss for the Harrison family. Girlalala's brother, Marion Harrison, was also shot and killed last August.

In a statement to WPLG Local 10, her grieving family expressed their heartbreak: "As a family we appreciate every prayer, kind thought and gesture during our time of bereavement. Now we are just praying that justice is served to the fullest degree."

The community has rallied around the family through a GoFundMe organized by Chaddie Harrison, which has raised $28,777—surpassing its $25,000 goal. Notably, former City Girls rapper JT (Jatavia Shakara Johnson) contributed $12,500 and shared a powerful message on Instagram calling for protection of trans women and black women.

Girlalala's funeral is scheduled for December 5 as the entertainment world remembers the vibrant influencer whose life was tragically cut short.
