Valet seeks to collect $1.1M judgment from Quavo

A Las Vegas valet who claims he was slapped by rapper Quavo is now actively pursuing the collection of a $1.1 million judgment awarded by a court. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Antonio Henry is taking steps in the state of Georgia to recover the sum he secured in a Nevada court.

Background of the case

Henry filed his lawsuit in 2020, alleging that Quavo assaulted him in 2018 while he was working as a valet at the Encore Hotel & Casino. Henry claimed that he was trying to break up a fight when Quavo slapped him. The rapper, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, denied all allegations of wrongdoing. Henry stated that he suffered both emotional and physical injuries from the incident.

Court ruling and damages

The case proceeded to trial, and the court ordered Quavo to pay Henry more than $650,000 in compensatory and punitive damages. With interest and attorney fees added, the total amount exceeded $1.1 million. Henry has now filed documents in Georgia to enforce the judgment and collect the money owed to him.
