The ongoing P-Square crisis has taken another twist as businessman Wale Jana weighed in, offering a blunt assessment of the family feud. In a detailed reaction to Peter Okoye's recent tell-all video, Jana declared that Jude Okoye, the group's elder brother and manager, must be completely removed from the P-Square brand. He accused Jude of greed and alleged that he has been "milking the sweat" of his twin brothers, Paul and Peter.
Jude Okoye's Alleged Greed and Manipulation
Jana did not mince words, stating that Jude is "not a good elder brother" and that he squandered a golden opportunity. "God gave him an oil well he could have sat down and just enjoyed for the rest of his life but he got greedy and started milking the sweat of his brothers," he said. "He is a terrible human being! Although you cannot say he didn’t do anything to help P-Square."
He further alleged that Paul is being manipulated by Jude due to the strong bond they share. "In every family, there are always two people who are closer than the others, and in this case it is Paul and Jude. Paul sees Jude as his loving big brother but Jude is very manipulative and he uses the love that Paul has for him to play favoritism against Peter," Jana explained. He reiterated, "I say it again Jude is an evil brother and he needs to leave P-Square alone!"
Peter Okoye's Destructive Emotions
However, Jana did not spare Peter, noting that the singer is "too emotional" and has a tendency to burn everything down when he feels cheated or sidelined. "Peter is destructive he doesn’t mind for everything to burn if he feels like he is being cheated or sidelined," he said. Jana cited an incident where Peter refused to perform after a confrontation with Jude. "He mentioned a show where he refused to perform because he asked Jude a question and he threatened to slap him then he went online and posted that Jude is no longer their manager. Paul told him to do his worst and he reported at EFCC," Jana recounted.
According to Jana, Peter's explosive reactions are not helping to resolve the family feud. "Peter is too emotional he is not helping matters!" he emphasized.
Financial Implications and a Call for Unity
Jana warned of severe financial consequences if the brothers fail to settle their differences. "100s of millions have already been frozen in court cases, guess what will happen next? Their catalogue too won’t be worth a dime because of legal issues, the royalties will stop, the shows have stopped already, all that will be left are legal bills!" he cautioned. He added that Jude's frozen accounts mean P-Square is effectively broke. "Jude is still the one getting all monies that is due to P-Square the implication of Jude’s account being frozen is that PSQUARE IS BROKE because they cannot access their funds!"
Jana urged the brothers to prioritize reconciliation and focus on their new company. "Peter and Paul need to find a way to settle their differences, focus on the new company they registered together and produce great music. As a man, once money is involved, settle matters quickly o," he advised. He also referenced Proverbs 24:32-34 to underscore the dangers of complacency and inaction, warning that "Sapa is coming for you people if you don’t sort things out asap!"
