Woman goes mad after confessing to friend's murder

A Nigerian woman identified as Rose has reportedly lost her sanity after allegedly confessing to the murder of her friend, Mngusuur Gloria Pever. The claim was made public by the brother of the deceased, who linked Rose's current state to the alleged confession.

Gloria, a Benue State indigene, reportedly died on Valentine's Day in 2024. Her brother, Gabriel Pever, provided an update on the case via a social media statement on Thursday, April 30, 2026, claiming Gloria was poisoned.

"Even in death, you are powerful more than them, (your jealous friends), she has confessed, she has run mad," Pever wrote. "Thank you God for your vengeance. Vengeance is mine says the Lord of Host!! Late Mngusuur Gloria Pever Aka Glogold, your friend is mad!! I mean Rose is mad!! What a world. You warned me never to revenge your death. I comply with a heavy heart, but now vengeance has taken its place. Keep resting in peace my love."

Commenting on the post, a friend, Jimmy Ahula, revealed that he had tried to keep Gloria away from Rose but failed. According to him, Rose is "diabolical and spiritual."

"Rose!!? Ahaah!! I thought as much.... because back then I tried and tried and tried to make Gloria keep a wide gap from this serpent called Rose, but it didn't work," he wrote. "Events and issues came up occasionally that were obvious the lady was highly diabolical and spiritual. She never liked me personally because she knew I was seeing through her like a transparent bag. She was manipulating Gloria like a toy. It's quite unfortunate, she had her way, but today nemesis has caught up with her. She hasn't seen anything yet. She won't only be mad, she will suffer, and suffer and suffer before dying a painful and disgraceful death. This is just the beginning. While she is paying for her sins, my love is resting comfortably with the Lord. Rest on my dear. You have won the battle even in death."
