A California woman has initiated legal action against a man accused of secretly recording an intimate video during an online interaction and subsequently transmitting the footage to her daughter without authorization.

According to the lawsuit, Crystal Merrill alleges that in 2022, she was engaged in online sexual activity with Frank Harris via Facebook Messenger when he purportedly recorded her without her knowledge or consent.
Court documents indicate that the video captured Merrill performing an intimate solo act while masturbating.
Merrill further claims that Harris sent the footage to her daughter via text message and email in 2023. She also asserts that he threatened to upload the video to platforms such as Instagram, Pornhub, Facebook, and TikTok.
